A sales pitch

So we’re clear, it’s “bear with me”, not “bare with me”:

Bear (verb): To have a tolerance for; endure (one of many definitions)

Bare (verb): To make bare; uncover or reveal; to expose

On that note, Happy Mother’s Day!

Yeah…this is 40 years too late. Finally just figured this out a couple weeks ago, inspite of thinking I was pretty knowledgable about grammar…

  2. That was awesome. I especially like the thrusting motion on your dancers. Very tasteful.

Love the tactful editing in the last panel.

  4. Great job on the animation! I like how you chose to animate the hip movements.

  5. Once, working in a call centre, I asked a customer to “Bear with me”. He replied “There’s a bear with you? Isn’t that rather dangerous? Mind you, it would explain the large pause.” …wait while the penny drops on the second pun…

  6. oooh i just thought of one i always get wrong – brooch vs broach

  7. Wow. That looks like every staff meeting I’ve ever attended. The last frame in particular.

I won’t bare it any longer – my wife would get upset.

    So nicely done, BD!

You did not! Awesome… and quite entertaining. You can have a bit of fun with the many definitions of the word “draw” being that they are quite varied. But I always enjoy your comics (even when I’m late to the party).

This is a classic! Well done!

  15. Mehehe, stick figures gyrating in a board meeting 🙂 Love it!
